American Based artiste, Jidenna Theodore Mobisson, has come out to express his concerns on how African Artiste were ultimately Disgraced at the One Africa Music Fest which held in London.

During the show, African Artiste weren’t allowed enough time to perform as all performances had to be rushed by the host, Banky W due to the fact that the show started an hour-thirty minutes late and the managers of the venue were pressuring them to keep to time.

Jidenna’s perform was cut short as the managers of the show cut off the power supply before he could perform.

Jidenna said  “I was supposed to perform 2night but the show was cut off as I waited backstage. I’m disappointed. Regardless of whose to blame, to make this our time we must be on time,” he wrote. In another interview, he said the world is already laughing at Africa.

This is in fact a blow to us Africans. If the managers didn’t respect the Artiste they should have respected the fact that they were there for africa and consequently represented Africa. However, the organisers of the Show also had a fault of not starting the show earlier as scheduled.

Other Artiste like Psquare almost didn’t perform while other artiste’s performers were cut short mid Performance.
