Aminu Umar a 42 year old man has been apprehended and charged before a Lagos magistrate court for allegedly sexually molesting his neighbours children, who are under aged. The girls are between the ages of 4 and 7.
He allegedly molested them at the same time in his apartment with Bobo drink, a popular drink favoured by young children
Aminu Umar a kano state born, who works in the abattoir is found of returning back home early, and once home he would usually lure the children to his apartment with Bobo drinks, each time the parents of the children were absent from home.
The incident was said to have happened at 5 Salako street at Oko -Oba area of lagos, where the pedophile and the parents of the children both reside.
It was gathered by the police that this molestation act has long been going on and non of the children reported the matter to their parents. The truth came out when the mother of the 7 year old victim was bathing her and tried washing her vagina, only for the child to flinch in pain, the mother obviously queried and at that point the little girl told the mum all about what’s has been going on, telling her mother how Aminu Umar has been inserting his penis inside of her.
The 7 year old victim said “Umah lured us into his room and gave us Bobo thereafter, he removed his clothes and our pants and clothes too and carried us to his bed where he will be putting his penis into our vagina”
The mother then closely examined her little girl and she did find signs that her daughter was a victim of sexual molestation .There was obvious signs that Umar has been having carnal knowledge of the little girl. The case was immediately reported at police state and Umar was arrested and was charged to court after investigation were concluded.
Umar pleaded not guilty and informed the court that his wife was not living with him.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs Davis Abegunde granted him bail in the sum of N1m with two sureties in like sum.
Umah was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 26th of June.
