Arsene Wenger Bids €100M For Kylian Mbappe

It seems Arsene Wenger is now getting out of his “financial shell” by reportedly bidding €100M for Monaco youngster Kylian Mbappe.

The highly coveted star in Mbappe has been the centre and subject of intense transfer speculations in recent weeks with RealMadrid allegedly contacting Monaco for the signing of the striker. Manchester City is also another club that has reportedly contacted the Ligue 1 champions to register their interest in the young France international. Chelsea and Paris St German are also interested clubs.

According to reports gotten on Friday, Arsenal might have been the first team to really confirm their interest in the player with a bid. It has been rumoured that Arsene Wenger made a statement that he wants to make Mbappe the “centerpiece in his team”.

Mbappe who recently clocked 18 in December took over the footballing scene with an outstanding season with Monaco in the just concluded season by scoring 26goals and bagging 14 assists in all competitions.

Although, there has been reports that the bid has been rejected, it is still unclear which club the player will give his signature since realMadrid has also reportedly bided €130M for the player and Arsenal non-champions league condition not so palatable at the moment.
