Coconuts have not always had a good reputation with the Doctors. It was regarded as a food which contains too much saturated fat and was perceived as having no health benefits but had  the abilities of clogging arteries and causing heart failure.

This is however a misconception of the true power of the commonly patronized coconut we see today. Many People today, use the coconut for numerous things, from using its flesh for food, to using its oil as a moisturizer.
