Fast and Furious 8, “the fate of the Furious” is in top gear as it currently tops the box office charts.
It is the 8th installment of the fast and Furious franchise and it’s living up to expectations to do well in the market as it hit a record-shattering $532.5 million when it opened last weekend. The movie still tops the box office with $38.7 million from 4,329 locations.
Even though, the previous sequel in the franchise, “Fast and Furious 7” made over $250 million in its first two weekends (compared to “fates” current sum of $163.6 million), Fast and Furious 8 overshadows its predecessor in terms of the movie’s international appeal.
The movie is a must watch as it was sure to cast main characters like Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Charlize Theron. The movie was directed by F. Gary Gray, to a two-frame global total of $744.8 million and worldwide sum of $908.4 million.
