Nigerian Man Charged For Rape In Cambodia

Nyong John Esin, a Nigerian man has been arrested for the alleged rape of a 22 year old Indonesian tourist in Siem Reap, a resort located in Cambodia.

The alleged rapist 47, hails from oron village of Akwa Ibom and there before relocating to Cambodia.

He lives in Vietnam and left for Siem Reap in a bus on the 31 of May 2017.

During his confession, he  confessed to Cambodian police how he approached his victim pretending to be a Khmer national and deceived her, telling her he knew many tourist places around the area, offering to be her guard.

Same day he took her to his rented room in Banteay Chas Village in Siem Reap, where he raped the young lady three times and threatened killing her with a knife.

The Nigerian man was arrested when the woman managed to escape and informed the police on her ordeal.
