How much of this immorality can we take?
Why do we fold our arms and watch our generation deteriorating?
Enough of making it just the Girl Child. Extend it to the Boy Child who carries the lead role in initaiting the sex acts..
“As boys and girls go through puberty (the term referred to the age “at which a person is first capable of sexual reproduction of offspring.” Dictionary.com), many changes happen. This post is about all of those changes.
Learning about the changes that each of you goes through (not just what your gender goes through, but the other one as well) is important for many reasons. Top of that list of reasons is to develop compassion and understanding for what the other is experiencing. Yes, each of you has your own unique reproductive system, but you’re both going through A LOT of changes”. …TeenageSenses.com
Parents, stop limiting sex education to a particular gender alone. Parents worry when the girl child is approaching puberty, warnings are given, the dangers of having sex are daily spelt out to the female child, what an early pregnancy could mean for their future, the list of pitfalls are daily reminded you of , of what could happen if you sleep with the opposite sex.
Why then do we always limit the do’s and dont’s to only the female gender? I think its well important to talk to boys as well, not leaving them to go on the discovery mission themselves. “Top of that list of reasons is to develop compassion and understanding for what the other is experiencing.”
To be taught compassion, this is very important and a should be a vital to the male child once they get to the puberty age. Having understanding and compassion for the opposite gender will transcends into a lot. Today we hear stories of how young girls are raped, its so common in nigeria that some people actually talk about it like its an acceptable way of life, its almost like its become a proof manliness among some peer group. I did a post about rape on the FB page of unbroken chords, I was shocked beyond words when I saw and read comments left by some youths, potential leaders of tomorrow.
Every male sex offender out here , both young and old all went through the stage of puberty, who knows if they would have turned out well if they had being lectured or spoken to about how to behave with and around the opposite sex, just maybe many victims of rape could have being spared the life changing ordeal. Truth be said some parents actually enjoy listening to the sexual exploits of the male child as they pride them as manly and have come of age.
it’s the responsibility of parents, especially fathers to teach their the male child on how to behave and relate with the female child. They should be put to awareness on all female related issues, what is acceptable behaviour and what is not.
