UNILAG Student cries out on how SARS forcefully collected his school fees

Adetokunbo, an undergraduate of the institute of continuing Education, University of Lagos, Akoka, alleged that some operatives of the special Anti-robbery squad, Lagos state police command, attacked him and robbed him of his school fees in Okota area of Lagos state.
Adetokunbo who is a student of philosophy, told Reporters on Tuesday that four policemen accused him of being an Internet fraudster (yahoo boy) because he was holding an iPhone.
He also said that the men, who had earlier arrested two other suspects that were in the car, drove them round Lagos roads.
According to him, the Police officers later took the two other suspects to an ATM machine, forced them to withdraw a sum of #100,000 each before they released them at Oworonshoki area of the state.
He said they forcefully collected #70,000 from him which was meant for his school fees, after that they dropped him on Third mainland bridge .
Apparently Adetokunbo pays his school fees himself, he voiced out and said he was not pained by the torture but the fact he would have to drop out as he could no longer raise the money again.
”I am a clothier, but i am also undergoing part time studies at UNILAG, I am in 200l, i had to sell some of my property to raise my school fees.
”I went to deliver some clothes to a costumer in Okota sometime in April and was returning on a motorcycle around 3pm, I observed that the area was disturbing, before i knew it the motorcycle rider threw me into a gutter.
”I was still shouting at him when the operatives came towards me and said i was a yahoo boy. They held me by the trousers as i protested and struggled with them asking for my offense. I pushed one of them away. They all descended on me and started beating me.”
”They put me in handcuffs and threw me inside the car. They were slapping me from different sides, i told them to check my ID card  or allow me make a call. They didn’t listen to me or even check my phone. They asked me who my father was that made me use an iPhone, which they could not afford.”
He also stated that he observed there were two other men in the car, adding that he gathered that they had just obtained their visas with a plan to travel abroad when they were arrested.
He said the operatives seized the ATM cards of the men who were accused earlier , and tore his (tokunbo) shorts while attempting to search his back pocket where he had his wallet.
”They collected #70,000 from me and also collected #100,000 each from the accused men”.
It was gathered that the police authorities had already contacted Adetokunbo inviting him for a meeting. He said he could identify the faces of the policemen but he is afraid for his life.
”While i was in the car they pointed a gun at my head and said they could waste me and nothing would happen”. He also added that the policemen can be found in Gowon estate, Egbeda and okota in Lagos state”.
The state police public relation officer, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, said the police as started looking into the case.
